How I Reached Darjeeling in just 105 Rupees?

In this blog article, I am going to share with you my personal experience on how I reached Darjeeling in Just 105 Indian rupees and I am 100 percent sure after reading this article, you will get an idea how you can reach Darjeeling in just 105 Rupees like me and I promise that you will not have to read any other articles. First of all, I reached to New Jalpaiguri(NJP) railway station by train. New Jalpaiguri(NJP) railway station is a name of a Railway Station which located in West Bengal. If you want to go to Darjeeling, Sikkim, Nepal or Bhutan by train from other parts of India or any part of the world, then you have to come to New Jalpaiguri(NJP) railway station.

From New Jalpaiguri (NJP), I took a sharing taxi that stays outside the station and went to Siliguri Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus. When you come to Siliguri you tell the driver that you have to go Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus so that he can drop you in the right place.

Now you may ask me Why I went Siliguri? I would easily get sharing cab or taxi. There were plenty of Vehicles outside New Jalpaiguri Railway Station that goes to Darjeeling. The main reason is that they were Little bit expensive for me and Since I was traveling with almost no money, so I decided to go to Siliguri and find a cheapest way to reach Darjeeling. After reaching at Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand in Siliguri, I started searching for sharing vehicles that goes Darjeeling. Sharing vehicles are little but cheaper way to travel. As I was searching for Sharing vehicle, Suddenly I saw a government bus that goes to Darjeeling was standing near the gate of Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus. As soon as I went near the bus, I heard an announcement in speaker that the bus going for Darjeeling was about to leave in just 5 minutes.

Then I rushed to the ticket counter and asked for the ticket. After hearing the ticket price, I was quite surprised because it was just 105 Rupees. If I would go buy sharing taxi, then it would cost me around 300 to 500 Rupees. but in bus it took just 105 Rupees, which I found the most cheapest mode of transport to reach Darjeeling. It was a West Bengal Government Bus and it was not so bad.
