How to reach Darjeeling?

Answer : There are many ways to come to Darjeeling. 

By Air :

If you are coming by flight, then the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport. The Distance from Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling is 69 km. 

From the airport you will get a direct taxi to Darjeeling which will cost you around 3000 to 4000 Rs.

You can also take a sharing taxi, which will cost you around 400 to 500 Rs per person.

By Train :

If you are coming by train, then the nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station. You will get a train to NJP from almost every big station in India.

From NJP you can reach Darjeeling by cab, sharing taxi, bus and by train.

In cab, you will have to pay around 3000 to 4000 Rs 

In a shared taxi, you will have to pay around 250 to 500 Rs. 

If you want to go by bus, then you will have to come to Siliguri from NJP. You will get a bus from Siliguri NBSTC government bus terminal. From the counter you will get a ticket which will cost you 103 Rs only.
