Before going to Darjeeling I was searching over youtube about the cheapest place for solo travelers to stay in Darjeeling. Youtube showed me many results but all the results were out of my budget. 

After an hour of research, I finally got one video that showed me the place that I wanted to stay. The video talked about the cheapest hostel to stay in Darjeeling for budget travelers.

I went in January, 2023. That time the rate was 250 Indian Rupees. The price may change if you are reading this article after years. But trust me this is the cheapest hostel in entire Darjeeling.

What are the documents required to get admitted in the hostel?

If you are an Indian citizen, then you have to provide a Xerox copy of your National ID. It can be Your Voter Card, Aadhar Card or any other government issued ID and In case you are a foreigner, you have to provide a photocopy of your Passport.
They might want to see your Original ID Card. So it is good to carry your original ID along with a Xerox copy.

Do they provide food here?

Yes. They provide food but you have to pay for that and sometimes the cooking person is absent. So you have to speak with the hostel staff.

How many beds are there in one room?

It's a dormitory type of room. So there are around 10 beds in one room.

Yes, there are single rooms but you will have to pay extra money for that.

When I stayed in this hostel, I had to manage for drinking water. They didn't provided drinking water. So I had buy from the grocery store.
